Psychology is the study of human behavior and all its complexities—our thoughts and feelings, hopes, dreams, desires, weird quirks, biases, flaws, motivations, and our darkest secrets and highest aspirations.

Because of all this complexity, we can study ourselves through many different lenses: developmental, cognitive, evolutionary, social, biological, and so on.

But this complexity can also be wildly confusing.

My job is to find the most interesting, insightful psychology research out there and apply it to our lives in practical ways. All with a healthy dose of crass jokes and f-bombs mixed in, of course.
